A couple from our church claim they caused quite a stir with their outdoor Christmas decorations. (Actually, I think this is going around the internet, and not a true story.)

Well, there is good news and bad news about our Christmas decorations. The good news is that Hale truly outdid himself this year.  The bad news is that we had to take the decorations down after only two days. We had people come screaming up to the house.  But two things made us take it down. First, the cops advised us that it would cause traffic accidents as they almost wrecked when they drove by. Second, a 55 year old lady grabbed the ladder and almost killed herself putting it against the house and didn’t realize it was fake until she climbed to the top. (She was not happy.) She was one of many people who attempted to do that.  Our yard couldn’t take it either. We have more than a few tire tracks where people literally drove up the front yard.  I think Hale made “him” too real.  But it was fun while it lasted.
