Jess: I wonder if you can hire someone to put your ideas into a comic strip.
Pete: You can.
Jess: “Comic artist for hire.”
Pete: “Serious inquiries only.”

I love Peter’s and your senses of humor.

That sentence took me forever to write, and I still don’t know if it’s correct.
They are 2 separate people, so “senses” is needed, as Pete & Jess don’t have the exact same sense of humor (although very often similar). “Peter’s” is needed to show Pete’s ownership of his sense of humor and “your” to show Jess’ possession of her sense of humor.
I hope my break-down analysis of your sentence is helpful (and accurate), Scott.
