Using this website, I can turn any text into a sweet barcode. Fellow G1 (gPhone , Google phone) users can use their barcode scanner app to reveal the secret message.
Mrs. Melling plans to use this handy feature for writing love notes to her high-tech husband, who could quite possibly read barcodes without a scanner. Anyway, Mr. Melling, check your email.

Actually, (pushes up glasses) any phone with a camera can download a barcode reader!
